Beacon Partners Creates Two Consulting Practices to Meet the Needs of its Expanding Client Base

Norwell, Massachusetts (April 15, 1997) - Beacon Partners, Health Care Management Consultants, announced today the formation of two distinct consulting practices within the firm. The focus of the new practices, Strategic Management Services and Technical Solutions, will be to enhance the clients consulting experience with Beacon Partners by dedicating professional resources focused on these distinct lines of business.

"It is our belief that the Consultants of Beacon Partners will provide the industry maturity, expertise and knowledge that are vital to the success of our clients. Our focus will be to engage clients with operational and business objectives that help them succeed and remain competitive in today's health care industry. Beacon Partners has the experience and the know-how to guide clients through current health care industry trends such as MSO formation, centralizing business operations, work-flow redesign and patient advocacy" states Charles Anastos, Vice President, Strategic Management Services.

Creating the two consulting practices within Beacon Partners will give the firm two channels of consulting expertise that is truly focused on a client's specific engagement requirements. Beacon Partners will invest heavily in the education and growth potential of all consultants in their respective practice. Our goal will be to build upon Beacons' consultant's years of experience so that they maintain and keep in the forefront of emerging issues in health care business and technology.

The Technical Solutions practice will be under the leadership of Vice President, Mitchell Paine. "Our goal within the technical division will be to stay on top of evolving technologies such as the Internet, Microsoft NT and WIN95, remote access using browsers, hardware and networking. Many of our new technical consulting service offerings will complement our custom programming services and, therefore, be a natural extension to these services. We are focused on growing our technical consulting practice so that we can meet the growing informatics requirements of clients."
