WEYMOUTH, MA, August 31, 2005 - Beacon Partners, a leader in the healthcare consulting industry, announced today the signing of an agreement with Dallas-based CHRISTUS Health. CHRISTUS Health is currently engaged in a standardization initiative called the Unity Project. The goal of this project is to consolidate HIS applications in over 25 facilities on the MEDITECH information system and standardize clinical and administrative processes. Timeframe for completion of this expansive project is 2-3 years.
CHRISTUS Health engaged Beacon Partners to perform data extraction from multiple legacy systems and conversion of this data to MEDITECH systems. This conversion is an integral component of the overall project to ensure continuity of operations with accurate and accessible data.
