Alliance has potential to put handheld charge capture device in the hands of several thousand physicians within the first year
NORWELL, MA and DURHAM, N.C., June 14, 2000 - MDeverywhere,, the mobile computing platform providing healthcare solutions at the point-of-care, announced it is forming a strategic alliance with Beacon Partners, a national healthcare management consulting firm.
The strategic alliance will combine Beacon Partners' business and technical integration expertise in serving large physician group practices with MDeverywhere's innovative mobile computing platform and its lead application, EveryCharge(SM).
With EveryCharge(SM), physicians use a handheld device to capture diagnoses, treatments and other billing information at the point-of-care, reducing errors and paperwork and streamlining the billing process. Other services, including dictation, order entry and prescription services, will be integrated this summer.
