NORWELL, MA. (JANUARY 24, 2000) - Health Care professionals may now access comprehensive information regarding HIPAA security and privacy issues on-line. This new web site www.hipaacomply.com combines facts, knowledge and advice from legal sources, industry associations, the federal government and many other sources addressing HIPAA regulations.
The goal of the site is to provide an aggregate of information with a focus on HIPAA security and privacy issues. Visitors may join interactive discussion boards to share information, ask questions and get advice. Pertinent HIPAA related news and information and a timeline of deadlines is available as well as a listing of events, seminars, and conferences. Visitors may also link to relevant federal and state legislative information, associations, journals and magazines in addition to legal issues and implications of HIPAA.
