Job Responsibilities
This Consultant position, within the Professional Services Division, will be focused on providing services related to the Siemens Invision Patient Accounting system. The Consultant is responsible for providing high-level consulting to our physician practice, hospital and academic medical center clients.
This consultant will work as part of a team responsible for the integration of multiple physician practice groups. Will provide strong systems support in an RCO Invision Patient Accounting environment. Helps to define and build Patient Accounting Pathways, screens and process flows. Performs all PA master file creation and maintenance. Defines reporting needs in SMS Reporting Tools and builds accordingly. Responsible for Receivables Policy Manager RPM policy building. Other standard system maintenance and support such as data entry formats, batch upload and creation, and OML maintenance for UB04 and 1500.
Consults with client to define solutions to needs or problem areas, and determines scope of investigation required to obtain solution. Solutions may include installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in methods and practices, or redesign of products or services.
Prepares written deliverables for client and Beacon management as defined in project scope, while complying with engagement standards, status report submission procedures, deadlines, and client folder specifications/requirements.
Other engagement specific responsibilities may include IT planning and needs assessments, system selection and implementation, project management, upgrade coordination and testing, custom programming, application support, design or build, interim management, business operational analysis and work flow redesign.
Maintains at least 85% billable utilization rate.
Qualifications
Must possess the ability to understand the integration of applications and their impact on business process and operations. Must be able to work effectively with all levels of clients’ staff. Must be forward thinking, able to meet project deadlines, possess high level of energy and professional acumen, and be client service oriented. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Must exhibit a dedication to quality, reliability and resourcefulness.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, listening, and verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to take initiative, advise clients on alternate methods of solving problems, or recommend specific solutions. Creativity and excellent presentation skills are an asset. Must have the ability to anticipate problems and visualize solutions on a proactive basis.
High level of proficiency required within the MS Office Professional Suite: Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years experience working with Siemens Invision – Patient Accounts particularly with pathways, screens and flows. Knowledge of PA day-end updating processes and flows
Previous experience with SMS reporting tools: Standard, Adhoc and Scheduling and Receivables Policy Manager (RPM) Policy building. Applied understanding of Patient Management, RTIF interface support and Remote Computing Option (RCO) environment a plus
Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience working in a position of a health care provider, organization, vendor or another consulting firm is required; specifically with project management, implementations, system support, business operations analysis or work flow redesign.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
