Beacon Partners Receives “Community Connect” Certification
Becomes one of the first consulting firms to receive this designation

WEYMOUTH, MA – November 8, 2011 – Healthcare management consulting firm Beacon Partners today announced that they have received “Community Connect” Certification from Epic Systems Corporation, best known for making software for mid-size and large medical groups, hospitals and integrated healthcare organizations. This designation recognizes consulting firms for effectively implementing the company’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Practice Management (EPM) services for the healthcare community.

“Community Connect” certification is designed to help provider organizations identify consulting firms who have the breadth of capabilities and a proven track record of EMR implementations that successfully connect various healthcare organizations.

In order to receive “Community Connect” certification, firms agree to train their Epic-certified staff on Community Connect and to offer services at a fixed price per practice. Other factors include adherence to timeline and costs, and overall client satisfaction.
