I founded Beacon in 1989 as a privately-owned firm focused exclusively on healthcare operations with a single goal: to provide quality healthcare management consulting services that would offer clients real-world solutions and hands-on assistance. Since that time Beacon has grown from a single employee to over 80 consultants located across the country, with offices in Boston, San Francisco and Toronto.

For many years Beacon was known for offering IDX consulting services. Over time we have grown our service lines to include expertise with all major IT vendors, such as MEDITECH, GE/IDX, Epic and Cerner, Business and Revenue Operations, Clinical Transformation and Executive Consulting. Our clients consist of health systems, academic practice plans, community hospitals, physician groups and payers. All of our consultants have gained significant knowledge working for healthcare organizations or IT vendors. Through their experience they offer clients assistance with high-level strategic initiatives as well as day-to-day operations.
