As a 25-year veteran of the healthcare industry, Ralph P. Fargnoli, Jr. is a respected industry leader whose experienced viewpoint and visionary outlook is sought after by executives at the most prestigious healthcare organizations across North America. His strategic and methodical approach to finding solutions to the needs of the healthcare community is what has allowed Beacon Partners to thrive since he founded it in 1989.
Fargnoli stays actively involved with the industry through his affiliation with organizations such as the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), and his longstanding tenure on the board of trustees for the CHIME Foundation.
Fargnoli received the 2008 CHIME Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes pioneering leaders in the healthcare industry who have made major contributions to the field of healthcare IT.
Under Fargnoli’s leadership, Beacon Partners has become a recognized leader in organizational performance improvement for the healthcare industry through their expertise in IT, clinical, strategic and operations consulting. He has a keen understanding of the evolving needs and challenges facing organizations in the healthcare community, and has directed Beacon Partners to strategically evolve accordingly.

Charles R. Anastos, Jr.
Senior Vice President
Charles R. Anastos, Jr. possesses over 23 years of diverse experience in business development, consulting, project management, client management and marketing, primarily in the healthcare industry. He began his career as a research budget officer with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and continued to flourish at IDX Systems (GE Healthcare), a leading provider of software, services and technology for healthcare provider organizations, as a Manager of Customer Support and later as the Director of Implementations. During his tenure at Beacon Partners Anastos has held the positions of Senior Manager, Vice President – Business Development and currently Senior Vice President.
With multiple affiliations to industry organizations such as HIMSS, MGMA, HFMA, AAHC and New England HIPAA Workgroup, Anastos is also a member of the TEPR Vendor Advisory Board and served as a member on the Advisory Panel for the Center for Healthcare Information Management (CHIM). Additionally, Anastos’ writings have appeared in such publications as For The Record, Health Data Management and ADVANCE for Health Information Executives.
Anastos is a graduate of Bentley College with a degree in Business Management, and holds an MBA from Suffolk University.

Peter Dolphin
Vice President of Business Development
Peter Dolphin is Vice President of Business Development for Beacon Partners. In this role he leads the national sales efforts for the multiple practice lines of Beacon Partners, where he is responsible for the expansion of the company’s core offering of coaching organizations within the healthcare community to create and deliver the kind of enterprise strategies that result in optimum performance.
Peter is well respected within the healthcare industry and brings a keen understanding of it with nearly 20 years of demonstrated sales leadership in medical information systems and services. He has worked closely with major hospitals and large medical groups nationwide to introduce organizations to new technology and help them use it successfully. His knowledge of the diverse complexities of the healthcare industry coupled with his core strength of building strong relationships with healthcare professionals throughout the healthcare community has been pivotal to his success.
Prior to joining Beacon Partners, Peter was vice president of sales at eScription, a leading provider of Computer Aided Medical Transcription software. Peter joined eScription at its founding, where he developed and managed the national sales team. Prior to eScription, Peter worked at IDX Systems (GE Healthcare), a leading provider of software, services and technology for healthcare provider organizations, where he focused on opening new markets, and was consistently recognized as one of the company’s top performers.
Peter is on the board of trustees for the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA. He also volunteers his time and is active in a variety of civic clubs and organizations in the Boston area. Peter holds a B.A. in Economics from Providence College.

David J. LaFontaine
Vice President
David LaFontaine possesses over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing and management within the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Beacon Partners LaFontaine honed his business acumen as a marketing consultant with MEDITECH, a leading software vendor in the healthcare informatics industry. He has accrued extensive experience while at Beacon Partners in planning information system solutions in the roles of Manager of Consulting Services, Director of Consulting Services and his most recent accomplishment, a promotion to Vice President of Consulting Services.
At Beacon Partners LaFontaine’s core responsibilities are centered around new system implementation and information technology project management. He is also a long-standing, active member of HIMSS.
LaFontaine is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and holds an MBA from Anna Maria College.

Kathleen LePar, RN, MBA
Vice President of Professional Services
Kathleen LePar has 30 years of healthcare experience. She is a registered nurse offering Beacon Partners clients clinical and nursing informatics expertise gained through broad experience in progressively responsible management and supervisory positions. She possesses management and customer service skills, providing a wide array of leadership and management support with a great depth of understanding of healthcare organizations. She also served as an education and public affairs specialist for the Medicare Peer Review Organization (PRO), responsible for developing and delivering Medicare education, along with communication and relationship-building with physicians, administrators and both state and federal legislators.
Ms. LePar is an expert in selecting and implementing advanced clinical systems, including EMR, clinical documentation and specialty systems in acute care, ambulatory clinics and behavioral health provider organizations. She effectively identifies approaches for creating integrated networks to support the healthcare continuum and effectively applies informatics and clinical solutions that extend nursing care delivery across the breadth of the patient safety scope.
Using proven methodologies for change management Ms. LePar has effectively assisted organizations in successfully reaching their goals by facilitating change management working sessions, collaborating with senior leaders to identify impacts to their functions and to assess organizational change readiness and developing project charters to guide organizations through the change process.
She currently serves as Vice President of Professional Services for Beacon Partners, and oversees resource management, professional development, service methodologies and practice line development.

Alan Worsham
Vice President
Alan Worsham possesses over 25 years of healthcare technology experience focused on process improvement, system implementations and organizational change management. As Executive Director of Faculty Practice Plan Information Systems at Washington University in St. Louis, Worsham designed and implemented a successful revenue cycle improvement project that resulted in an enterprise-wide upgrade of IDX Systems (GE Healthcare) applications and hardware, new software development and the management of 40 information technology and support professionals. Worsham was responsible for the timely, on budget completion of the program and the take-away for the University was an information system supporting over 900 physicians, 3000 end users and 35 clinic locations.
In his role as Vice President at Beacon Partners, Worsham is responsible for the expansion of the western region, which includes, but is not limited to, business development, client account management and staffing.
Worsham is an active member in many industry associations, including HIMSS, CHIME, MGMA and HFMA.
Worsham is a graduate of the University of Missouri and holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
